Any recommendations on local furniture repair? Particularly with modern and mid-century modern furniture. Leave a note in the comments or contact me directly.

Try Mark Macek, here in Austin, http://macekfurniture.com/
He designs and builds custom modern and contemporary furniture, so I’m sure he knows a good deal about their restoration.
Sago International designed it. They’re the same guys that designed that house on Riverview with the sloping roof. Mark Macek is a good recommendation, but pretty much anyone in the Splinter Group.
I have twice gone to Diane at D. George Refinishing here in Austin. They brought my four Tulip chairs back to life and repaired a headboard that was humpty-dumptyed into a million pieces in shipping. All pieces are beautiful and whole now.

Love the site, keep up the good work!
Thanks Ben and everyone. I will call these places and see what they can do.
Smithers Furniture Refinishing did a beautiful job for us on a Danish teak sideboard.
