None of the Phase 2 homes (Agave Design) back up to the railroad. They are on the opposite side of the neighborhood from the track. Almost all the Phase 2 homes have a view (for now) because the majority of them are up on a hill. The materials are the same as Phase 1, however the earlier spec homes do not have some of the upgrades that have recently been used on the newer houses on the same street.

If you have ever seen these “new” homes by the builder, then you would understand the need for the price reduction. Plus, all of those that were reduced, do not have any views what-so-ever and back up to the railroad. They are also built smaller than the Phase 1 homes in Agave, have little or no carport and/or storage, and the materials used are very cheap and not even worth the price they are asking now.

There were pretty big price drops on some of the remaining spec houses in inventory at Agave today. That has to be bad news for folks trying to resell.

I went to the Oepn House, held by the realtor, this weekend. This house is top of the line with all the upgrades. The view is awesome of the Austin downtown skyline. This is by far the best house in Agave!

i’m a neighbor, and can say that this house is a really nice one, with several upgrades by the owners. really a good deal!

I saw this on Craigslist a week or so ago. So far as I can tell, it’s not in MLS. I wish them luck. They’ve done a nice job with the property. There are still a few houses at Agave that have never been occupied that are also on the market.
