This is Eugene Wukasch’s own private residence. I went there for his estate sale a few years back, and although I knew it to be a great house, ole’ Eugene was an inveterate packrat. The living room was filled with work tables and stacks of books. I think the sellers were his heirs, but I’m not too sure of that. Whatever they did, they did a nice job of restoring the property.

Thanks for the info, Mark. It is really a great looking place now. I was by his Lane Residence and it appears that was updated recently as well on the exerior. Has a stucco look that I doubt is the the orginal siding.

Do you happen to know anything about this place?

Somebody was asking about who designed/built it.

Thanks Chris, I figured it out and updated the orginal post a bit ago.

Funny thing happened at the lat Austin meet-up, a couple people thought the pictures I took were renderings. It took a bit of convincing otherwise.

Were the windows glazed after the fact? My photo looks different than the one on your site. Not sure if happens just to be the angle/reflection or a glaze that was applied.

I am looking forward to seeing some of your newer projects. I’ve heard hints about them but no pictures.
