Green Mango isn’t high on my list of favorite companies right now, but they do have a set of KRDB homes up for listing.  Total of 4 units across 2 lots.

Oh, it is silly. I rent a place through Green Mango currently. Initially it was just an ok experience, nothing major. The prior tenants were basically students or young group living men (”bros”) so even though it is fairly new it was already needing some maintenance and a serious deep cleaning. However, when we showed up (from out of town) it was a mess (fridge covered in mold top to bottom, for example) and emails on the topic never were returned. At least the prior tenants left some porn behind for us, though even that was substandard.

But now they have asked us to move out as we refused to renew our lease for another year. We preferred to go month to month. All that is within their right, of course, though extremely inconvenient for us and completely short sighted of them. After all, I also was going to offer to list the place up on the site for them when it came time to move out. It isn’t fully modern but given the shortage of loft / modernish places, I am sure it would have appealed someone looking for something other than a typical bungalow or Sears house. I do get a request or two a month on the topic.

The other part that is an annoyance is that they were suppose to be representing me in this transaction. However, I rented “in house” and that means you will always lose out to the listing holder.

Now they are going to lose a quiet, professional couple (I would say mild-manner, but we all know that isn’t true) for a likely group living student situation. Perhaps we didn’t throw enough parties for them.

you’re renting, market is slow, rates are low… get out there and buy yourself 7000 sq ft of TX!

I must say that we also had a bad experience with Green Mango. We were moving from out of town and put a deposit down at the Agave subdivision. At the time, Green Mango was representing the sellers and nearly all of the buyers.
They were not straight-forward. It was obvious that they had the sellers best interest in mind, and not the buyers at all. We couldn’t get any answers out of them about the specifics of the properties, i.e. fences, community pool, and garden. They didn’t represent us to the sellers when our completion date was moved up even though our house was not progressing (I’ve been told this had something to do with bank money). etc., etc. And, to top it all off, they were hard to get a hold of and slow to respond. We ended up pulling out of the contract, largely due to green mango.
I would not recommend using them.

When Jim and I were house hunting, we also had a lousy experience with GM.
