I go away for a weekend and I miss some interesting listings including a Stenger on Lund and a wonderful home on Great Oaks Parkway that several people wrote in about. Sad to say I never saw the listings so I can’t pass them along.
To make it up, I promise to share the photos and notes from my visit to Fallingwater. More than fair trade I think.

Total renovation of a classic Delwood ciderblock home.
The main house features two bedrooms, one bath and measures 1,401 square feet per owner. Birch accent walls, vaulted ceilings, clerestory windows, and polished concrete floors create cool living spaces throughout the home. Natural light pours into every room.
The house now has a very strong Eichler feel too it. I think is a great example of what can be done with an older spec home.
update: this was first listed last fall and now is back on the market. this is just a repost of the same listing from back then. I don’t remember the Eichler reference in the first posting…. Drew, you can write the check to: c/o modernaustin.com ;)
